I'm not sure how the inspiration came. I believe I was around 13 when my parents were thinking of buying a fixer property in Vegas. I just remember it being in really bad shape, I also remember the pool was being used as a skateboard park. My parents didn't buy that house but a desire was born. All I could see was potential!
From that time on, I would watch all of those flip shows and knew I had to figure out a way to flip a house! Years later I was finally ready to take the jump, with some savings I started that journey! Of course, I went to several seminars they all said if I gave them $25-$50,000 they could show me how to make money! What I noticed was they had no guarantees that I would make money. Many of them have great information for free, but when it came time to qualify my only qualification was I give them my savings!
I just felt if I have $50,000 then I could do this on my own with no guarantees. I was right! I started networking with others that were already making money, hungry for what they knew! Thus far I have now flipped several properties never losing money, and my ROI has never been less than 22% most less than 6 months! I started slowly obviously!
